Is it dusty?
No. The stone is embedded in hot asphalt, not loose over a base. That’s a gravel drive, a different thing. There’ll be some loose chip in the first weeks and then it’s a solid surface.
I’m close to the bay. Does that change anything?
It can. A higher water table means less excavation depth before you hit wet ground, and a base sitting in water won’t hold compaction. We check on site and design around it.
